Gate 22 Melbourne Airport Sewer

Delivering Critical Underground Infrastructure.

Project Overview

Excell Gray Bruni is delivering a critical sewer infrastructure upgrade at Melbourne Airport, involving the installation of approximately 800 metres of pipeline at depths of up to 8 metres.

The project includes complex underground works such as bored installations, ring and timber shaft excavation, and the construction of deep access shafts. Delivered within a highly constrained and operational environment, the works require precise coordination and careful management of existing live services.

This project highlights EGB’s capability in delivering technically challenging infrastructure within high-risk environments, maintaining safety, compliance and performance throughout.
