Building futures, on the pitch and off

Last week marked Female Football Week, celebrating the growth, talent and community spirit behind women’s football across Victoria.

On Saturday 16 May, Excell Gray Bruni was proud to sponsor the Essendon Royals SC Female Football Round at Cross Keys Reserve, with the Royals securing an impressive 4–1 win over South Melbourne to retain the Coveny-Curcija Plate.

In front of a packed home crowd and a fantastic community atmosphere, the Royals delivered a strong team performance built on skill, determination and competitive spirit from the opening whistle. The energy around the ground reflected the strength of the club, its supporters, families, volunteers and the wider football community.

The day was also a huge success off the field, with fundraising efforts for the club exceeding expectations and strong community support shown throughout the event.
