Excell Gray Bruni has officially launched its dedicated Sewer Team in Victoria, with the team mobilising in August 2025 and already delivering works across multiple active projects.
This marks a key milestone in strengthening our capability in sewer and water infrastructure, allowing us to respond more effectively to increasing demand across Victoria’s growth corridors.
Delivering from Day One
Since mobilising in August 2025, the Victorian Sewer Team has been engaged on live projects involving deep sewer construction, service coordination, and complex excavation works.
A key project currently underway is the Gate 22 Melbourne Airport Sewer Upgrade, delivered on behalf of APGC for Melbourne Airport. The works include:
• Installation of approximately 800 metres of sewer infrastructure
• Excavation of shafts up to 8 metres deep
• Bored sections and trench works in constrained conditions
• Live services management within a high-security environment
Operating within an active airport precinct requires a high level of planning, coordination, and compliance. The team has been structured specifically to manage these types of complex environments.
Purpose-Built for Complex Works
The Victorian Sewer Team has been formed with a clear focus on delivering technically challenging projects.
With experience across deep sewer installation, trunk mains, and live service environments, the team is equipped to handle:
• Deep and large-diameter sewer construction
• Trunk sewer and reticulation networks
• Service relocations and live changeovers
• Shaft construction and underground works
• Bored and trenchless installation methods
